Medical Kits Delivered
An update - checked Fed Ex on line and our papers were delivered to the DC offices today at 10:30 am. Hooray! Now if only Thanksgiving were tomorrow. 8 )
Hey, sorry it took so long to get back to you...my blog site is The Gambia Update.
Yes Gambia is a Muslim country, but it is a very laid back environment. Some women (very few wear head coverings. Most people in general only wear religious garb on Fridays which are big prayer days, and not everyone does that. My theory is that it's just too damn hot and humid for that kind of thing. Also, it seems as if although people adhere generally to the laws of Islam, it is not conservative like you would see in north east Africa.
